Creator Wizard Seth Dev Log #9 - Tree Branching Structural Improvements
www.creatorwizardseth.com
So we are here making trees again. The white tree is my next attempt to create a balanced tree.
And so I have decided this is a great place to trash my attempt at a tree and start over.
We can see my next attempt forming,
Here is a great place to stop and look at some alternate renders to get a better look at what I'm doing.
One more step adding branches and filling empty space in a balanced way.
In the picture below, the frame of the tree is completely done. All that needs to be done now is to shrink the tips of the branches, expand the base of the trunk a little bit, and add tree branches and leaves.
Now with a bark texture and correctly shaped branches. This is looking very nice.
My attempts of trees next to each other, one in the center, two on the right, and three on the left. The leaps in quality are amazing.
And now our specimen on a hilltop with a partially completed leaf canopy.
And a couple renders of a more completed leaf canopy.
Now we need some variation so I will create a smaller younger version of the tree.
First attempt at completing the foliage. The branches I am using are too large and so the tree looks too spherical and unshaped.
Re forming the leaf canopy with a finer attention to shape.
And now we can see them next to each other.
And I also create a smaller version and lay them out in the landscape. We can see a tremendous leap in quality of our scene from just yesterday.
And now we can be fairly sure that I am in fact a divine wizard from space.
